The Copenhagen Opera House Friends
Death of one, food for another - before

Notes

Last year when visiting Zoologisk Have in Copenhagen my family and I walked past the owl cage, at the bottom of the cage were the food for the owls. My wife thought I was stupid, but the scenery fascinated me. The small dead chickens strewn on the floor of the cage, morbid some say.

I don't think there is anything wrong in taking a picture of a lifeless bird. The funny thing is, what often offend people in a public crowd is what they look at when they get home and admire. We want to watch misery and reality about others. But in public crows, oh no it's just plain wrong! ;) as a press photographer i meet this problem often when I'm out shooting at events and public places. I think it's a great picture, tells a story about life!
