There are however limitations to the usage of the educational products, more about this and links to the Adobe Store after the jump.
First of all, the educational products can’t be used for profit, but only for your own pleasure, and thus also for your TFCD/TFP sessions.
I have spoken with the Danish Adobe support staff, and they confirm that I could purchase an educational product for our home computer using my sons credentials.

Please note that some rules apply, if you are above the age of 18 you need to provide a valid student Id with a picture of yourself.
